Moral turpitude is defined as conduct that is contrary to community standards of justice, honesty or good moral values. The other options, such as price fixing and exaggerated statements in advertising, do not fall under this definition and therefore would not be a valid cause for the barber state board to refuse to issue or renew, or suspend or revoke a certificate. Gambling is also not a valid cause, as it does not involve moral turpitude.
